Human Resouces Coordinator - WestLex

As our Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide work work directly with our HR Manager and HR Consultant. Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes databases to initiate multiple employment status change checklists (new hire, status change, and separation) to begin the process of notifying all essential departments impacted by the associate status change. 
  • Implement HR processes that ensure the accurate data collection and entry of all the data points within the steps of the associate life-cycle.
  • Assist the HR department in initiating background checks and drug screens and ensure full completion.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports as requested.
  • Work with multiple databases to support assigned customers, essential HR processes and other corporate functions (Talent Pro, Ignite, VeraSuite)
  • Primary candidate contact for pre-employment screening questions and documentation
  • Research HR issues for associates, managers and customers by utilizing established procedures, policies, resources, reports and other available data
  • Assist new associates with access to database for policy acknowledgments, required training, and certification completion
  • Provide badges to all new associates and temporaries.
  • Manage and distribute birthday and anniversary lists.
  • Oversee the maintenance of associate records by organizing and filing required documents in compliance with organizational guidelines
  • Organize and promote monthly New Associate Orientation
  • Assist with employee engagement projects and planning, as needed
  • Participate in weekly HR team meetings
  • Participates in special studies/projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:· 

Associates degree from a two year college and two or more years of related HR experience or and equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 

· Must be able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects with changing priorities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent phone etiquette
· Strong administrative and problem solving skills
· Highly organized and able to prioritize with attention to detail
· Ability to routinely deal with fast changing and shifting priorities
· Ability to multi-task and follow-up with a sense of urgency on all matters
· Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with all levels of management
· Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and proficient typing skills
· Ability to develop high levels of trust and maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality
· Ability to promote, coordinate, and support change
· Demonstrate proficient computer skills, including strong knowledge / experience in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Internet search capabilities
