IT Desktop Technician - Westside & Northside Lexus

Summary:

WestLex has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced IT Desktop Technician who will support both Westside Lexus and Northside Lexus.

 Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Set up new users on computers, phones, voicemail, cellular phones, and software systems and train new users on this equipment.
• Install software programs, hardware programs, PC equipment and office equipment.
• Troubleshoot or repair problems with hardware, software, and office equipment.
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
• Supports the IT Manager in facilitating system and software updates.
• Works closely with specific dealership vendors, i.e. Reynolds and Reynolds, ROME to ensure the needs of the business are being met.
• Generates reports as requested.
• Monitor the IT tickets daily and respond to any IT concerns.
• Available to respond to computer/system-related requests after-hours.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field; or three to five years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Auto dealership experience is a plus.

Must also possess:

• Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills: Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Microsoft Certification for System Engineers (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) preferred.
